I think it's impossible for me to root for Tavarez. I'd be lying if I said I don't get (very slight) pleasure when he pitches poorly. Aside from the fact I hate him, how is he a better option than DiFelice to this point? I know it's an extremely small sample size but Tavarez has been plain bad in 20 innings this year.

I'm sure glad Riske will be back though. I hope that changes the notion that Mota's the "8th inning guy." He might be the most frustrating guy to watch that isn't very bad.

If DiFelice is being sent back to AAA, I'd like to see him placed back in the rotation in anticipation of a possible call up to replace Bush if his struggles continue. He's one of the few rotation options we have.
