Sausage advice...

I'm going to be a racing as the Chorizo tomorrow. Any tips? (Humorous answers are welcome)

i would just false start and get a big lead. ive seen it done where one sausage gets a 5 step head start. what are they gonna do - stop the race???

Don't hold the costume to your face like some do, it looks dumb. Pump your arms and run, who cares if you can see!

Sorry, I didn't clarify. It's not at Miller Park. It's at my hometown 4th celebration. During a Home Talent Baseball game.

 

Which makes it even more fun for me. I'll know a lot of people.

I have the solution.

 

Tell the other sausages something to the effect of -- "Hey -- let's keep it close for entertainment's sake, and only run hard after the halfway point" --- and then of course don't.

Since you're going to be Chorizo (or I guess "Cinco"), post after the race and let us know how much harder it is to run with the sombrero. It looks like the bigger hat would be an aerodynamic hassle.

I too will express concerns about the hat weight, It looks very daunting to run in that thing

 

I believe I have only seen the Chorizo win on Sundays, where the minis finish the race

 

So.... "lose" the hat right before the race
