Hopefully the AL continues it's dominance over the NL (except for the Brewers) so that we can continue to move up in the standings.

 

We've officially leaped over 3 of the six teams that were ahead of us in the wildcard race.

Couldn't ask for a better day of baseball this afternoon. Now, it's the Brewers chance to seize this minor opportunity.

Our friends in the American League have really helped us lately. Especially those White Sox.

That's why I'm more concerned with games behind than who's in front of us. If we take care of business, things will sort themselves out.

Philly lost this afternoon as well, on a David Ortiz walkoff. (this has to be the first time I've ever been happy to see a D.O. walkoff)

 

The AL is really helping us out today.

So if the Pirates win today(and we do), that moves us within 1/2 a game of 2nd place in the WC. Go Buccos!!

Watching the Cubs fumble and bumble themselves out of scoring chances in a 0-0 game sure is entertaining.

 

Makes me somewhat upset that they've GOT to have an All-Star rep by default.
