I think Dobbs would be a nice fit for the Brewers. The question is if he's an upgrade over say Lamb as 3B platoon candidate. Given he's younger, he should be. He's also played some corner OF.

Anyone have an idea what the Phils would want for him?

I don't think that they will be looking to get rid of him, he is a fan favorite, and is still going to be cheap. Plus I've heard that they might have him play a larger role if Burrell leaves in the offseason.

I think it would depend on the Phillies offseason, namely resigning Burrell or not.

 

They look to have a need for a catcher, or at least a some quality depth at catcher. Perhaps a deal for Salome/Lucroy would be sufficient. Dobbs would be an interesting option.
