Does anyone know how home field advantage works for the NLDS? Assuming the Brewers are the 3rd best team, which games would be home in the NLDS?

You can upgrade pack size and location, but you can not downgrade either. So you can go from 9 to 20, but not 20 to 9. You can go from Terrace to Field, but not Field to Terrace.
So, I can pay $125 deposit for a terrace level 20-game pack, get playoff tickets, and then upgrade later? I assume that means I only get terrace level tickets in the playoffs, but that sounds good to me.

Does anybody know when the lottery draw is being held for the 1st round? I thought the deadline was over and they'd make an announcement soon as to the winners?

nevermind, found my own answer

on or about Thursday, 09/20/2007.

:sigh: may just have to put a deposit down on some terrace reserved...not that I really want to sit there though http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

i just got an email from the brewers telling me i didn't win tickets, good for me that i have playoff tickets secured through my friends parents for 1 playoff game per series. Now we just got to win some games. Did anyone on this board win the lottery?

Just got email telling me I didn't get picked either. I used three different names and three different emails and none were drawn. Guess I'll be scalping if they make it in.

I won the chance to get up to 4 tickets to 1 game of the NLDS. I'm curious how many people they selected, because you're not guaranteed tickets with this, just the opportunity. You have to buy them online Tuesday morning, so I'm curious how the servers are going to take that.

I won!!! Well kind of. I won the opportunity to purchase as well. Too bad it doesn't seem like it will matter. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif Boo for 10:00 on a Tuesday morning though with no internet access at work.

Boo for 10:00 on a Tuesday morning though with no internet access at work.

10 am is stupid. Seriously, can't they do it at night for once? They could even open it up at like 6:00 am so everyone has a chance. I mean, this would only be the biggest thing to happen to the team in 25 years.

I'm pretty sure you won the tickets, you just have to buy them. I don't think they gave out more "opportunities" than available seats.

That seems like an odd way to do it. They're just assuming that everyone who got picked will buy four apiece?

Not to further bring down the mood of those of you not picked in the lottery, but are playoff tickets being mailed at some point to those who already ordered them?

I'm not asking because I'm positive the games will be played. Indeed, I've been trying to prepare myself mentally for the possibility of their arriving the day the Brewers fall 5 games back or something dreadful.

It just seems like if they don't mail them, MP (or any postseason hosting park) becomes a colossal will call headache. Plus we were asked to chip in $25 for shipping, so for that I want to get a big official envelope, preferably while the Brewers are still in contention.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

so if selected you can buy 4 tix to both games 1 and 2 at miller park? i thought you could buy both games but in the email it says 1 or 2. anyone know what some of the seat prices are for the nlds?
Posted
Count me amongst the losers. Of course my brother won and he said I could go with him so maybe I am a winner.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Hawing, I thought I read somewhere (maybe on the folder they sent??) that they would email a tracking number? I would have to think they'll be mailing this week though.

bfishman - The prices for the NLDS don't seem bad. When I got my info, I ran the numbers, and they were only about $12 more per ticket than I had paid for my 20 pack, and those are in the lower level.

Now there's an idea, pretendastronaut: check the folder. http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/smile.gif

SEPTEMBER 24

Postseason tickets and parking sent via FedEx to SSHs. Includes all ten (10) potential Postseason games played at Miller Park, plus one (1) Tiebreaker.

OK, then. The Brewers shouldn't be mathematically out of it by Tuesday (when I'm assuming these would arrive). Yet I'll hope for something more favorable than merely "not mathematically eliminated" by then.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
