Yeah, if they don't make it, and you don't plan on getting the tix for next year, it could be considered a bit of a waste.

On the other hand, $150 plus the cost of the strips/tix, is going to be cheaper than buying them off eBay, etc. Of course, if they don't make it, you save money from not getting the strips and maybe you decide to go ahead with the tix for next year. Either that, or worst case, they get swept in the NLDS and you paid $150 plus tix for one game, assuming they'll be away with the lesser record.

Ah...the choices that need to be made when having a team in playoff contention.

Is there a cutoff for putting the deposits down to get playoff tix? I would imagine there should be but I haven't seen anything yet...

well, there can't be a whole lot of seats left, we normally sit in sec. 423, and we got moved all the way to 411

Where are you in section 411? That's where we are as well. 411 rows 17 and 18 seats 1-5 of each.

So I am guessing since I don't have any ticket package this year and don't really want to buy into a 40 game pack for next year this early. I would have a hard time getting tickets for the post season.

Would there be any tickets left for someone to camp out at MP for all or any of the games NLDS, NLCS and WS at MP?

Question on pre-ordering for next year: On brewers.com, the prices listed are a down payment for each ticket package. Does anyone know what percentage this works out to? Like, would I have to shell out $250 per terrace seat (just going off of memory from looking last night), and then have to pay a couple hundred more later on? Obviously, the big attraction is the chance to buy playoff tickets for this post-season, assuming the Brewers make it in.

I doubt that there will be any tickets available for a "camp out" type of scenario.

The playoff ticket lottery will take care of any extra tickets. There will be no camping out.

Darn oh well I will have to wait for opening day tickets then the first day they go on sale next year. I always wanted to camp out for tickets. always seemed like fun to me http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Would anything stop somebody from putting down the deposit, buying the playoff tickets, and then not paying the rest of the balance for the '08 tickets?

i would guess they have your cc number and there is probably some terms that you have to agree to when you make the deposit.

If you camp out for opening day tickets in February, make sure your friend isn't going to wimp out a 1:30 in the morning, after already being there for 9.5 hours.

At first glance I didn't realize that the quoted deposit was per ticket. So unless there were a bunch of home playoff games it most likely wouldn't be worth taking the chance.

I plan to be the only one camping out 24/7. My friends will stop over when they are off work or have no classes to go to. I plan to go at least 4 days early maybe more.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/happy.gif

I plan to make the whole week free

Just a reminder to anyone that still hasn't returned their invoices, the Brewers are still offering tickets to full & 20+ game seat holders. As far as I know they plan to move forward with everyone else after today. So if you were on the fence and missed the deadline this is your last chance to change your mind.

Okay, so I had 4 9-game packs this season and the email I got today said I could get 4 tickets for each of the first two rounds of the playoffs... When I went to order, I was only allowed to get 2 tickets per playoff series. What's the deal? Did I misinterpret the offer???

Ok so I called the ticket office to get clarifications on how this all works! As far as upgrading and how much the total cost is going to be.

Deposits are going to be roughly 50% of the entire cost of the tickets for next year. So double + change it for the total cost.

You can upgrade pack size and location, but you can not downgrade either. So you can go from 9 to 20, but not 20 to 9. You can go from Terrace to Field, but not Field to Terrace.

You will have to buy your play off ticket right away, I believe the same thing applies to those ticket as season ticket holders. If heaven forbid they don't go to the playoffs, money will be applied to next years tickets.

And if you and buddies want to sit together, they have to go under the same CC. Not sure if you put deposits down, and then apply the deposits to one account come the time invoices are sent for '08 ball.

And the ticket office is really polite and nice, they totally were ok with my stupid questions.

I've also have had nothing but positive experiences with the Milwaukee Brewer Ticket Office. They are very knowledgeable and a great group of people. I feel that they are truly the hidden gem in the whole Milwaukee Brewer organization!

I'll chime in to agree. One of my employees called them Tuesday morning, hoping to get two seats together for Friday night's game. As he put it, "they found a very nice way to basically say, 'are you crazy?'"

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I had 4 9-packs too and just ordered. I got four tickets to one division series game and four tickets to one NLCS game. This was what I had been told I'd get from the beginning of the season.

Cluels--you broke it down perfect. I came to do that.

But instead, I'll share my excitement that I signed on for a 20 game pack for next year. I was going to anyway and when I saw I'd get playoff (fingers crossed) tickets too, it was a no brainer. The guy said he'd call me probably tomorrow so whoever said they were moving forward is correct. I can't imagine there's going to be a whole lot left for the general public.
