It has been reported that the Giants expressed interest in Capellan. What about Capellan for Taschner? He is a relatively young lefty, can be used like Brian Shouse. Also a local boy, being from Milwaukee.

 

Would the giants give up Taschner?

That sounds like addition by subtraction for the Giants. They need pitching so giving up a pitcher makes no sense...

It might make sense. They have actively shopped Benitez, and perhaps they'd like Capellan for the perceived potential we all once thought he had.

The ESPN Insider has a headline that says the Giants and Rockies are interested in Capellan. I'm nt an insider, so I can't get to it. Any idea who the Rockies would offer?
