printer ink question

I'm a teacher that highlights lots of pages. I hate how inkjet printed pages smear even with smearless highlighters. I prefer laser printers. However, I want to get an all-in-one and injet all-in-ones run far cheaper (especially considering laser isn't color). Has anyone had success with an inkjet that they can highlight?

Have you considered getting two devices, space permitting? It might be cheaper in the long run to just go with a laser, since you won't have to buy ink refills all the time. Color lasers have come down in price quite a bit too.

I second the 'two devices' idea. I used to have two back when color laser printers were prohibitively expensive.
