I guess technically Hart was sub-par. He is near enough to average that it likely will not matter. .266/.340/.447/.787 is an average NL right fielder. Hart so far this year, .260/.335/.419/.754. Add in that his 2007 isn't likely to be easily overlooked and a $2M increase isn't out of the question.

Fan is short for fanatic.
