That sounds about right. Lowest i've seen was around $300(but i wasn't that impressed with his work), but $400-600 is the normal range for a standard shoulder mount. Not sure the price on a European mount(but that's super easy to do by yourself).

Seemed like a disappointing year this year. My cousin got a 11 pointer with a 24 inch spread opening morning but that's all our group got all week. There wasn't just as many deer this year and the conditions didn't help at all.

Numbers this year were the lowest in 27 years as far as harvesting deer. Some blame it on the wolves, personally i'm not sure what's to blame. Hopefully the herd can bounce back from whatever got to em.

Those numbers are startling. Wolves, coyotes, harsh winters, and EAB are probably all to blame. Not sure why a 16 day season would be a good idea now. I feel fortunate to have gotten a nice buck and seen a decent number of deer this year.

Its earn a buck thats mainly to blame. Shooting a doe isn't just shooting one deer. Your killing like 4-8 deer.

 

The buck to doe ratio does seem a bit better now though.
