I admit to watching more than my fair share of Days of Our Lives in my younger days and even when I was watching it at my grandma's when I was 6 or 7 years old, Alice Horton seemed old. When I started watching again in high school, I was shocked to see she was still there, and was equally surprised when I caught a few episodes a few years ago. There's something to be said for acting in to your 90's. While I'm sure her death won't be widely mourned, she was an important part of the acting community if just for her longevity alone.

I started watching at around 8 with my mom, i then watched it for the next 25 years, but i have not watched days in the last 3 years, she was a great lady, she will be missed
