Wasp Question

I've been having this problem year after year. Right above my front door, I get a Wasp nest or two every single year. I've tried the sprays, but they end up coming back after about 3-4 months. Does anyone know of anything that actually works long term? It's getting kind of annoying doing the same thing evey single year.

Do you actually remove the nest, or just spray it and leave it up there?

 

I think there are just certain spots some pests are prone to using. Kind of like how I have to tie a plastic bag on the light outside our front door to keep robins from building a nest on it every spring.

I spray, and then remove it. Just a pain, seems like I do it all the time.
