Go Brewers, let's stop the losing streak and get a win. Just PLEASE don't look past the Pirates. They are going to be out for revenge.

Here's some fuel on the fire (from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette):

Milwaukee manager and longtime Pittsburgh resident Ken Macha took

objection with how Zach Duke plunked the Brewers' Rickie Weeks

Wednesday. The 1-2 pitch in question was high and inside, and it

immediately followed Jody Gerut's pinch-hit, two-run homer in the sixth

inning, and that gave Macha pause.

"To throw at somebody's face, I

don't think that was very good," Macha told MLB.com. "I don't know if

he did or not. I can't determine what the intention is. But I kind of

took exception to it, and Rickie did, too.

"They were hitting

Prince [Fielder] last year, and now they're hitting Rickie. Those are

the wrong guys to be hitting, I'll say that. I would pick somebody else

out."

Entering play Saturday, Fielder topped the majors (six

times hit by pitches) and Weeks was second (five). Duke, when asked

about Macha's objections, shrugged and said: "I was just trying to throw

inside."

The two teams, with ever-growing history between them

after a recent 36-1, three-game, record-smashing Brewers sweep, meet

again for three more starting Monday in Milwaukee -- where the Pirates

have lost 21 in a row.

What do you think Macha means by this, he does not seem like the type of manager to order a beaning but it kinda sounds like that with this quote. I wouldnt mind seeing that just maybe to light a fire under the players by having their manager stand up for them for once.

I agree with Invader3K: absolutely don't look past the Pirates.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Quick, someone get Zaun some lingerie magazines.
Remember what Yoda said:

McGehee is having a rough start to the season defensively.

Agreed. I really thought he should have at least come up with that ball, if not get the out. Hopefully he will make up for it with his bat like he usually does when he has a defensive miscue

Yep....to say Prince is struggling would be an understatement.....
He's certainly not hitting to his potential but he entered the game with a .383 OBP. I'd be afraid to see what kind of words you guys would use if he had a .360 OBP. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Gallardo looking pretty good tonight so far. Still wish he could get ahead of more hitters and keep the pitch count down.
Take away that E-5 in the 1st and a missed strike call when Zaun was impersonating Rube and his pitch count would be in really good shape. I agree with what you are saying though
