Interesting look with the lineup tonight -- Kottaras and his insane walk rate hitting second tonight. I like the idea (lineups for both teams have been edited into the lead post).

Apparently Ken Macha read my post in the lineup thread on the major league forum. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

So glad we called up another one of our top prospects to ride the bench.
Lucroy's getting the start tomorrow with Randy Wolf pitching. He's apparently being paired with Wolf and another starter, so if it's not Parra it's probably going to be Bush or Narveson. Assuming they stick with that plan, I can't complain too much. If it's only Wolf he's paired with or if they go away from the pairing of pitchers completely, then I'd be right there with you worrying about this turning into another Gamel situation.

Yeah, I was assuming Lucroy would get the start tonight since we went through the entire rotation except for Parra. If he catches two of the starting five pitchers, I'll be happy. I'm not holding my breath though.

I don't want to see Lucroy rotting on the bench either, but the way Kottaras has been crushing the ball (or, well, leaving the lumber on his shoulder as the ball passes by four times outside the strike zone), it's hard to keep him out of the lineup.

Interesting note: Kottaras has 3 singles, 7 doubles, 3 homers, and 21 walks this year. Sounds a bit like a guy I remember named Russell, without the insane strike out numbers.

According to the Gameday program:

"The Mets are the only team the Brewers have not pitched a shutout against."

Yo decided to change that.

Even when the Brewers are dressed as the Milwaukee Bears I still find it hard to say "Let's go, Bears." Instead I say "go 'crew!"

Even if they don't get any runs here, at least they're making Nieve work hard. Up over 30 pitches already, and he's supposedly only on an 80-pitch limit tonight.

Hart is on fire! It's a good time for it.

LOL, Oliver Perez is warming up. Perez and Parra pitching in the same game would be fitting. Two guys with loads of stuff and loads of inconsistency.

Raise that trade value, Corey. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Boy you really want the Brewers to be abysmal, eh?

46-pitch inning for Nieve. That's one of the highest totals that I have seen in a while.

Hopefully we're starting to see Hart progress back towards his career norms vs. RHP.
