Let's go, Narvdog! This will be my last home game of the year (I'll be at Citi Field Tuesday, which will be my last game in attendance for the year :\). Close the year with a quality win, boys.

Bummer of a game. The highlights for me were chatting in-person with jflick1215 and thablingster. Nice to see you guys.

Before entering the park we encountered several Brewers and coaches riding through the parking lots on golf carts, tossing out t-shirts in appreciation of fans. I didn't have my camera ready at all, but the SO and I each scored a shirt. It was a small but nice gesture. I scored a "hi" from each of Jonathan Lucroy, Randy Wolf and Carlos Villanueva. Villa was the most enthusiastic and Wolf the most reserved.

Tonight's game puts the hawing party at 15-14 in Miller Park games and 16-16 overall. We'll see what Sunday brings.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I echo hawing's comments. It was nice to meet up, chat, and talk some baseball.

On the field it looks as though the plan was to swing early and often at Volstad's pitches. I was somewhat impressed Macha pinch hit for Escobar with Counsell, it is too bad Kottaras couldn't come through.

Despite the loss it was a good time.

Escobar is being benched for his attempted bunt. I told my mom that I would surprised if Escobar was still the SS at the end of the game.
