    We don't need to pinch run for Vaughn if Frelick is just going to waste an out on the first pitch and any batted ball is a run on contact situation with a 5 run lead to boot. We've been using our bench to the point where we literally have no position players left and any pulled hamstring or sprained ankle leaves us with a pitcher playing the outfield or something.

    Contreras wanted to and should have challenged that but he didn't want to be wrong and lose the rest of our challenges because Bauers decided to challenge a pitch that was completely in the strike zone earlier.

    It's the same issue it always is with Bauers. He gets hot, we use him like an everyday player, which means more at bats vs lefties (this is also because as a team we are completely useless against lefties), he cools off predictably and it takes us way too long to realize it.

    As frustrating as a lot of Sanchez's challenges are, I will give him credit on challenging the obvious ones, which a lot of our hitters don't do.
