What would you do with #756?

I'd auction off the rights to have a Pay-Per-View (where I'd get a guaranteed amount of $$ plus a percentage of PPV revenue above a certain amount) of starting the ball on fire.

 

That way, I'd get my money PLUS Barry's "piece of history" would go up in flames, just like his career will once all the steroids evidence reveals itself.

 

Is that ball worthy of being in the Hall? Absolutely not. Especially once his records are expunged from the history books anyways for cheating.

 

See... here's something I have never understood: People with the position "Steroids weren't against the rules until recently." However - they've been illegal - at least in the context that Bonds has been accused of using them - since the early 90s. As such, even though Barry's behavior wasn't "illegal" in terms of baseball rules, it was definitely "illegal" based on U.S. rules. And last I checked, U.S. rules supersede baseball rules.

I would see what Bonds would give me for it. Making sure I got a framed Willie Mays NY Giants jersey along with the money.
