2011-06-15 Brewers (Narveson) at Cubs (Zambrano) - [Brewers win, 9-5]

[Raw Biz]

Seriously what the hell is wrong with Narveson? He dominates for four innings every start and then blows up.

[ilovebeer]

You have to be kidding, why can't it ever be easy.

[markedman5]

so predictable

[natronek8780]

He's not even going to get out of the 5th is he?

[ttsather]

Really? We didn't start warming someone even after the HR?

[pretendastronaut]

If I didn't have to work tonight, I would be drinking now. Heavily.

[razzzorsharp]

Get Mitre up and quick.

[mastershake76]

Um...Ron? He's done. you can go get him now.

[pretendastronaut]

The last person I want to see at the plate right now is Aramis.

[owbc]

I guess it's the Chris Narveson Big Inning again...

[Bombers]

This just sucks. Time to go to the pen, but they will have to pick up a lot of innings if they have to pull him now. 3 walks this inning. I would have pulled him after that last one.

[jason21nl]

my god I'm beyond pissed right now

[bucksman4]

The guy is in the mid 50s for pitch count going into the inning and then implodes. Why can't games ever just be easy wins?

[Raw Biz]

Why isn't Mitre, one of 2 of our long relievers, getting ready? Instead Dillard, one of our 2 ROOGYs is going to come in and pitch multiple innings?

[razzzorsharp]

To be fair he did throw some balls that should/could have been called strikes.

Chris Narveson: The Human Implosion.

And the manager doesn't realize it. Finally gets someone up after he coughs up 3 runs and walks the next guy.

I wish I could swear here.

Pitcher's spot is due up 2nd. So if someone comes in, it will only be for the 5th inning.

Chris Narveson: The Human Implosion.

I don't know how else you explain it. I think that's the best way to summarize him this year. He literally cruises for 4-5 innings seemingly every start and then usually gives up 1 huge inning that comes out of nowhere.

[brewerjamie15]

There. He got an out. No problem. Narveson is brilliant.

Thanks, I guess I couldn't think straight with all this anger.

[mastershake76]

Narveson bought some goodwill with his last outing against STL, but he's expended that now. I'm back to hating him. I'm pining for... Dave Bush? Dear god.

[brewerjamie15]

Maybe he should be a long relief guy. 4 excellent innings, you get back in the game, he rocks.

[bucksman4]

I don't know Reed Johnson's career numbers vs. Milwaukee but he sure seems to get big hits against us.

[owbc]

I will still take Narveson in the 6th and 7th over anyone in the bullpen.
