Why is it that Lucroy's throws always look so nice but he's hardly ever getting guys out?

Slow release?

Pitchers taking too long?

Bad pitches to throw on?

Other teams are really good at picking spots to run on him?

I don't mind the infield in. I'd like to see numbers, but it seems like the odds of a hit through the infield don't increase too much with the infield in, at least not enough to outweigh the potential saved run

I agree. It also depends on who is up next. The Twins lineup is less than inspiring so even if they do give up a single it doesn't have a great shot at being turned into a run.

Not worried we will come back and win.
I hope nobody is worried after being down 1-0 coming up to bat in the 2nd.

well that was a frustrating half inning. would have been nice to get at least one out of all of that.

Going back to the Weeks atbat. I usually don't mind, in fact I love it, players taking pitches but with a man on 3rd and less than 2 outs I wish players would punish the first pitch (usually a fastball) a little more.

That isn't to say Weeks didn't have a good atbat, he just lined out and that's the breaks.

I definitely agree with the opinion that you want guys swinging at a first pitch in that situation. I also agree that Weeks had a good at-bat - he was just unlucky, and if the line drive (or the defender) had been a couple of feet either way, the Brewers would be leading.
