  1. Any news on Dustin May after getting hit by that pitch? Is he going to make his next start?
  2. I initially hated the May trade but have since warmed up to it a bit, since the farm still looks fine without those 2 guys. I really want May to justify it though, don’t care too much what Frias and Ragsdale turn into, I just want May to pitch decent down the stretch. I am more disappointed by his 4.57 ERA as a Brewer than anything those guys could do. Still early and plenty of time to turn it around.
  3. I think they are willing to bench Yelich in September and October. It would be a lot easier if he had platoon splits but he doesn’t. Still, I think he is on track to lose some playing time if he doesn’t pick it up.
  4. I don't think there has been an accepted mutual option in MLB since 2014. Probably if he stays healthy then the brewers offer, because if nothing else he would have positive trade value. Will probably take a 3 year deal to sign him at this rate.
  5. How many injuries does it take to get Gary an inning or 2 at SS
  6. Didn't 3 guys get hurt in a time span of just a few days? They clearly just filled a spot with some random scrub off the street while they figure stuff out and make real plans.
  7. I still have some hope long term, we have seen that type of turn around before, but his 2026 season is very much done (it was weeks ago IMO)
  8. Sproat superpower is putting a few base runners on and giving up a big hit and then quietly retiring the side after all the runners were plated. So obvious that guy just doesn’t have it mentally right now.
  9. Been going though some other trades and this one feels like an overpay compared to Mize and Peralta but the Cubs gave up a lot for Holmes so that balances it out a bit.
  10. We lose trade deadline week every year. It's the one huge negative on an otherwise great FO.
  11. That prospect haul is basically nothing. Just org depth guys very likely.
  12. Naylor is not a bad pickup, definitely not an exciting one though. Think this trade is more forward looking to next year and beyond but might also give us flexibility for another trade this year. I was not too attached to either guy we sent out.
