My family and I are moving out at the end of the month, only, we are on the hook for the rent until August 31 - that's two months! We are moving out to go back to Oshkosh. The apartment itself is GREAT, big 3 bedroom, only the back bedroom is more of a study. Bayview is a great area, just south of downtown on the lake.

 

Rent is/was $850. 3 Bedroom lower. Hardwood floors. Very big. Good landlords. If you know anyone who can help me out please let me know!!!

 

Need someone to come in as close to July 1 as possible!!

To clear up, the neighborhood is on the lake, the apartment is a nice 5-10 minute walk from South Shore park.

What is the pet policy? We have a dog and are looking for a temporary place while we find a new house or build.

I have a dog, so I assume they'd be fine with it.

 

How "temporary" are you looking for?

 

The landlords would probably want you to stick around at least until the spring.

holy cow, that's literally the same block I grew up on. Is it in that apartment building or is it a duplex? My sister-in-law is looking for a spot, I'll tell her about this if you haven't found anyone yet. The only thing is, she's kind of cheap so I can't guarantee she'd be interested. It's worth a try though.

It is a lower flat. Its a great place. 2771 S. Logan. Still looking for someone (or someones).

ok, one quick question.

 

What is the maintenance like over there? Do you have to mow the lawn or shovel snow or anything like that?

 

I ask because my sister-in-law has a slight physical limitation which leaves her unable to do those things.

Nada. Landlords live upstairs and they are great. Shovel, mow, garden, everything. I havent had to lift a finger since I moved here. That was pretty nice.

sorry I forgot to reply rydogg, I didn't mean to leave you hanging. I asked my sister-in-law about it and she said that she's decided look more at condos rather than apartments. Sorry, I hope you find (or have already found) someone.
