Can't stand the guy, he seems like a real tool. The Cardinals organization in general are just sore losers, it seems like anytime a team finishes ahead of them in the standings ('08 Brewers, '10 Reds, etc.) they get their undies in a bunch.

Morgan and others with the Nationals said the genesis of their issue in that game had to do with Carpenter and his inside pitches.

 

No, that is impossible. We all know TLR's feelings on inside pitches.

 

On Friday, Carpenter pulled a reporter from The Post-Dispatch and a reporter from MLB.com aside to clarify his explanation.

 

Preferring not to talk about it again or put the incident back in the headlines, Carpenter said he didn't want to "come across as a liar" because of the confusion.

 

I'm confused. If he didn't want to talk about it again, why seek out two reporters to do exactly that?

 

We're not worried about what Albert is thinking.

 

I'm sure Carpenter explained it to him. Seriously, though, what was the point of Albert charging across the mound? Morgan was walking away, Carpenter was walking away. Albert's actions where what cleared the bench.
