One thing that drives me nuts about Betancourt is how he hurts our pitchers by making them throw extra pitches because of his poor defense and then turns around and helps their pitchers by swinging at the first pitch he see to keep their pitch count down. Well, maybe that is two things that drive me nuts.

If McGehee ever comes up with men in force position, he should just be PH for. As tough as it is to fathom why Betencourt is playing every day, it's even harder to figure out how McGehee is not only playing still, but hitting 5th.

Exactly what I was thinking, we have been waiting the whole season for him to turn it around and it hasn't come close to happening. It would be one thing if he were an above average defensive player batting 8th but he's not.
