That's hardly on Casey. We really need Rickie back for the playoffs, he still isn't himself.

Bad defense and streaky offense ar our two biggest flaws and will be our undoing.

It would be great to double up Stanton and push Lomo to the 9 th, but I don't feel good about this at all

No, the throw was not good enough....it was bad.

He's supposed to be a major league third baseman.

you mean the throw that hit Weeks in the glove? Casey actually made a good play to even field the ball.

If weeks threw at Yuni's knee and he dropped one, I doubt you guys would be blaming Weeks for the low throw. Just calling it like I see it. Not a perfect throw, but that's one Weeks needs to catch.

The throw was to his right and around his ankles. If he hits him in the chest like most major leaguers do its not an issue

Seriously? For a major league third baseman? I'm not saying Ricky shouldn't have caught it (not talking about Weeks), but it was a bad throw on a play a major league player should make easily. Thank goodness for good pitching.

like I said, he made a good play to even stop the ball. Not every throw is going to be perfect. That is certainly a catch most players in the league make. Goes both ways
