Maybe I'm just used to BA getting excited over routine flyballs, but by the way the PBP guy just called Hill's flyout you would've thought it went 200 feet.

I'm like a Cubs fan during the playoffs. Every moderately well hit ball by the D-Backs looks like a 450 foot shot to me right now.

Brewers, you have five innings to score more runs than they can in four innings.

This is the last inning for Yo for sure.

the pitcher poked a groundball through the hole. stop overreacting.

Not overreacting. Yo's pitch count is up there and he's spot in the order is coming up.

Crappy AB's by Prince and JHJ, but we were lucky they had to go back on a baseball, and it was good baserunning by Morgan to steal that run.
How was JHJ's crappy?
Swung at a 2-0 pitch that almost hit him and then blooped a ball which, if the fielder didn't have his momentum going backward, wouldn't have come close to driving in the run. He was lucky to be bailed out.

well, he's a solid hitter and only at 91 pitches. so either luc gets on and Yo bunts him over, or luc gets out and you let Yo swing away. Either way he's still pitching.

ha. i'm just thinking about how good nyjer looks taking those first two pitches, then he goes and falls over from swinging so hard.

Morgan should have been taking all the way until there were two strikes with two outs, a runner on 1st, and Braun up next. They're playing no doubles D and you figure Nyjer to not hit a homer.

Of course he is now, but I made the call before the GIDP :p
