I doubt the Nats would take either Izturis or Ransom even if the Brewers gave them away for free and paid their salaries for the remainder of the year.

If anyone would take Izturis, we could give him away for salary relief, but there's really not a reason to dump Ransom, who is pre-arby, and will probably be our backup SS next year for league minimum. He's certainly nothing special, but not a terrible option as a backup/utility guy.
