2014-06-08 Brewers (Gallardo) at Pirates (Locke), 12:35 PM CDT [Brewers win, 1-0]

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Some real stellar infield defense here in the 7th.

[RockCoCougars]

Leave him in.

[adamb100]

Pirates rally shut down.

[yfinn6]

Yo earned his paycheck that inning. Dayum.

[RockCoCougars]

Way to overcome some horrible defense there.

[DuWayne Steurer]

Yo's going to throw a 170 pitch complete game shutout.

[folly412]

Heck of an outing by Yo. Three jams, none worse than that one. Thought he was going five today the way he started out. Leave him in!

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Gutsy pitching by Gallardo there.

May have looked shaky at times, but the line says: 7IP, 0R.

Take that any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

[sauveb]

What was the first base ump doing on that bunt? He set up in a direct route between Weeks and first base. It would have been close but there was no chance when Weeks had to run around him.

[pretendastronaut]

I didn't have a good feeling about that inning at all. Good job of Yo getting out of that mess.

[RockCoCougars]

Why do they keep rerunning that Stein's commercial with Augie speaking in muffled inaudible tones and the Bruce Lee late night movie style overdub?

[yfinn6]

Those Steins commercials are all brutal, but not nearly as bad as Jerry Garcia's cooking tips. Yikes.

[adamb100]

I have to listen to the games on the radio. It's annoying to constantly hear the same commercials.

[yfinn6]

So RRR is taking out a righty with Martin up, and bringing in Duke..a lefty? Am I understanding this correctly?

Ahh, nevermind. K-Rod.

K-Rod

[MDBrew]

4 out save attempt

[TwinsBrewersWorldSeries]

take a seat Martin you washed up bum!

[adamb100]

K-rod got lucky there with that ball, err I mean strike. Edited June 8, 2014 by adamb100

[RockCoCougars]

Umps making up for those brutal calls in Minnesota today.

[DuWayne Steurer]

That was an interesting strike call.

[yfinn6]

That is a terrible call on Martin. Absolutely awful strike 3 call; I'd be livid, too. Well, I knew someone would get tossed today.

[trwi7]

Lucroy caught that like crap, so it looked like crap but it was a strike.

[MDBrew]

Sure would be nice if we could get another run here

[topper09er]

Gameday had that in the zone

[Vgmastr]

Home plate ump apparently has a plane to catch. Lucroy caught that with his glove on the dirt.
