Miller Park injury jinx for opposing pitchers?

Charlie Morton is out for the year with a torn hamstring on that play where he stumbled running to first over the weekend. Last year it was Wainwright tearing his Achilles and missing most of the year. In 2014, Joe Kelly, then with the Cards, pulled a hamstring running after crossing the bag at first and missed two months.

When you play 82 games at home and 738+ innings some one is likely to have a major injury.

I'm assuming that since ties can't happen anymore, 82 games at home would only be possible if the team is in the postseason.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

It's actually my own personal jinx. I was in attendance at both Wainwright's injury game and Morton's injury game. They were both on a Saturday night in April as well...

Me too actually. I will let everyone know the next time I take in a Saturday night game in April and you can look to put a bet in somewhere.
