Anderson has hit 95 multiple times and a 96 on that K on Rizzo. Best velocity he's had all season, and he really needs to be up in the mid 90s to be better than a low 4s ERA pitcher.

Good start against Chatwood. He’s mostly throwing balls, but the ones in the strike zone are getting pounded back up the middle (granted through just two hitters).

I've never really paid much attention to Chatwood, but he has some really strange mechanics. It's like he's flailing, limbs are flying everywhere. No wonder he struggles with command...I don't see that getting any better.

Hard to argue with 2 hits in 2 at bats, but we should be taking more pitches.

The difference between scoring 2 and 3 there is big. Awesome to score a couple early but it’d just be great if we did a better job in those situations.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I really think it's time for Santana to work out some things in AAA. Not even mak,g contact these days

I agree 100% with this. This was a big at bat following what transpired yesterday.

This. We can’t afford to leave runners on 3rd with less then 2 outs. Especially with how we have struggled against this team.

Frustrating to see a man left on third with only one out and Santana and Villar are swinging at balls out of the zone. I'd bet if they just stood there and didn't swing at all it's a 50-50 shot they walk.

Santana's approach both with the man on third and with 2 strikes is utter and complete garbage. I realize he's still getting on base and playing ok defense, but...... man, I just hate seeing him up ever when there's men on base.

Nice to see the Brewers work their way out of a two on, no outs jam against the Cubs. Maybe things are taking a turn for the better!

Good to see we're not the only team that gets doubled up on line outs.

I was thinking the EXACT same thing...

The Phillies did it too this past weekend. I guess it's part of the game now to run on hard contact and damn the double play.

It seemed like Arcia’s at-bat was a duel between a pitcher determined to walk a batter, and a batter determined not to let the pitcher walk him.
Not just “at Night” anymore.
