Twins have 8 (soon to be 9) wins against winning clubs. 28 wins against teams with losing records. Why do Brewers always play down to lesser talented teams?

Pretty misleading. Twins are 4-3 vs. Astros, 1-2 each vs Yankees and Phillies, and haven't played too many teams that have winning records yet. After tonight they'll be 8-9 against teams with .500 records, which is obviously not great, but I think that's just misleading. The only thing you can do is play the schedule that you have in front of you.

They're 36 -17 because they're a good team.

Good team but not 36-17 good. Misleading is the record, fattened against terrible teams. But yet that’s how it will be all year in the joke called the American League. Put them in the NL central they finish 4th.

This just has to end, time for a change.

Gotta really wonder when Aguilar is just a lost cause. He can’t be optioned and it is June...or about to be. He is worthless and plays a terrible 1st base. He provides nothing and it just a big ole anchor at this point.

July? Is July the point he is just dumped? When we get a replacement?

At this point I’m ready for the Brewers to cut ties with Aguilar. He’s been lost for so long they can’t keep waiting for him to find it again. If he finds it with someone else so be it.

Jesus would have destroyed a lefty like him last year. People forget that Jesus was very good as a part-time player in 2017 as well, so last year wasn't necessarily a fluke. He is completely lost right now, though. I imagine the leash is getting tighter.

Augilar is useless.

Thank you, it’s obvious too everyone now it’s just a matter of time before changes are made. Too painful to watch. Aguilar knows he’s done too. Enough. How many more wins with just average production from first and third.

I wanted Dietrich in the off season. Man what would it take?

Now?! Way too much; dude is hitting bombs like crazy.

Nottingham played a fair amount of 1B in AAA this season since he was splitting time with Freitas at catcher. Might as well give him Aguilars ABs while he's up instead of playing video games in the clubhouse or whatever he's up to besides getting to play baseball.

moose had a pretty bad night. K with nobody out and a man on third, fly out dp, pop to third with Braun on second one out, another k in the ninth. The first ab really stings.

Dude hit a bomb and hasn't been seen since. Crazy stuff.

For all the talk about Stearns' love of positional flexibility with players, Aguilar has to be on borrowed time - dude can't get out of his own way at the plate and is killing the lineup when he's in there aside from 1 week about a month ago.

Are we sure Braun can't play 1B anymore? At least when facing a lefty starter? I think I'd rather roll with that and cut Aguilar loose when Shaw is ready to come back rather than sending Hiura down. Keston's 0.763 OPS after tonight is despite an atrocious K rate and 1:19 K:BB ratio in the majors - very similar to his AAA start. I'd like to see what he does from now until the AS break playing basically everyday, then if they think he'll need a couple more weeks in AAA to get past the super 2 cutoff and he still hasn't hit to the point of making it a travesty to send him down, do it to start the 2nd half and recall him after the trade deadline.

This team is gonna have get a lot better offensively to compete with teams like the Dodgers and Astros, there the standard to be measured to and we should be trying to measure up to them if we want to win a championship.

Money is going to have to be spent between now and the deadline whether some of you like it or not. How else can we get what we need? Our great farm system?

Quality hitting first baseman.

Quality hitting third baseman( Shaw?)

Quality bench bat

Or the guys who have a capability of hitting have to hit.

I never thought this would be true but this team is two bats short. If Cain doesn't pull it together three. In this live ball era you can't win scoring 3 runs a game and not being able to hit a sacrifice fly.

Gotta think the end of Aguilar is near.

You just cant play first and hit under .200 for a long stretch.

On Sunday when they pinch-hit Aguilar for Woodruff in the 8th I was vocal with my displeasure of this call. The guy in the row in front of me didn’t like my attitude and said to stay positive. I said “I’m POSITIVE Aguilar is going to strike out here.” Four pitches later Aguilar struck out. It was awesome.

What in the heck happened to Aguilar? That poor guy looks terrible at the plate. Perhaps we should send him down to AAA for a while and see if he can come around. We can't have him in the lineup striking out 3 times a night. :(
