Lol people always find a way to complain about Chase Anderson over homers. Yet last and up to this point this year has a sub 4 ERA. Actually in his first 5 starts this year sub 3 ERA with ONE HOMER given up.

 

Some people just love to make a whipping boy and pick one stat to run with. Chase Anderson can be the tater king if they are mostly solo homers. Which looking at last year was no fluke when he limited hits and walks.

 

But sure get that guy out of there and put him in the bullpen where he gave up 7x as many homers. Don’t mind Jhoulys Chacin with his near 6 ERA and I believe a similar HR rate as a starter even after tonight.

Guys like Williams and Barnes are reasons Brewers fans have to be frustrated with the Hirua situation. Same guys who do not produce get chance after chance yet production gets sent packing.

This bullpen has really been hurt by the lack of progression from either of Taylor Williams or Jacob Barnes. Especially with Knebel out for the year.
