2020-09-30 (NL Wild Card Series): Brewers (Suter) at Dodgers (Buehler) [Brewers lose, 4-2 -- Suter’s early struggles prove too much for offense to overcome; Yardley and Topa combine on solid effort out of bullpen]

The swing in the video looks so much better. The difference in Narvaez from last year to now is reason enough to fire Haines. I have not seen one decent argument for keeping him around.

Looks like in 2019 it was a lot shorter swing (seems more loopy and exaggerated now)...

It was definitely a bit flatter with less stride.

I put one of his Brewer home runs side by side with 2019 on my computer monitor and they’re awfully similar. Maybe that’s why it was a HR. Unfortunately people don’t really YouTube strikeouts, so tough to get true comparison I guess.

He was a top prospect.

I've seen this argument a lot and it doesn't really make sense. Arcia was a top prospect too. If you're trying to win in the playoffs you go with the guy who is the better player now, as sad as it is, that's Arcia.

I'm not arguing against using Arcia over Urias in the playoffs. I'm talking about roster construction moving forward in the future.

Don't worry guys, he'll come out with a crappy movie spoof tomorrow and we'll forget all about it.

Oh yes, because baseball players should only play baseball and have no personality and that's it.

I never said that, so congrats on your post?

Well at least the Brewers have an extra base hit on Buehler, and it’s Vogelbach who I really hope remains a part of this team. His approach is so much better than any other hitter we’ve watched this season.

Then what exactly are you saying, because obviously it went over my head?

Because it sure appears you are ripping on the guy for appearing in some team-produced viral videos that were meant to be funny and give him the chance to show off is quirky personality.

He has been our best hitter since he came and is cheap. Why wouldn't he be back.

He's not arbitration eligible until 2022 so there would be no reason not to have him. Unless the Angels wanted to trade Mike Trout and insist Vogelbach is part of the deal or something.

Yeah, that’s a fair point. It just seems like he’s doing that crazy upper cut swing on a lot of pitches that aren’t anywhere near the bottom of the zone. He looked more under control in the video, although they were obviously handpicked highlights for a reason.

Thought that ball had a chance there. Eyes must be off.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I'm amused by how patronizing the announcers are being to the Brewers. It's like they're giving us a little pat on the head: "They're still in it!"

Not undeserved, just funny.

Crappy movie spoofs aren't funny and going crazy over them because a baseball player made them is stupid.
