The Dodgers are so good. I know totally different sports, but I think the blueprint for beating the Twins and Dodgers this year is just make them feel pressure a la the NCAA tournament. That was the Cubs in the playoffs for ages.

To me, it just feels like baseball isn't enough to be interesting. Trying to force atmosphere onto something that should be inherently dramatic.

I think the speed is such a big part of it. When runners are on, it is much more normal for the hitter. No idea of the numbers back that up, but a theory.

I was advocating they pitch Lauer, who owned this lineup last year. He didn't even make the roster. Shows how much I know.
