Brewers in the dugout laughing like they can’t wait for this to be over.

At this point, I'm ready for the offseason too. This 60-game season has seemed longer and more grueling than a lot of 162-game seasons have. This team just has so little personality. It never jelled.

Based on tonight I'd like to ask for a redo of the Grisham trade. Urias ain't the guy.

As much as people want to give this 4 or 5 years to judge it, I'm guessing if Stearns was offered a refund on it right now, he'd jump on it.

I'm glad since COVID started I've gone from working about 50% from home to about 95% from home so at least I can make my Brewer watching productive by getting work done because this is a brutal team to watch. I haven't been around as long as some here but have been following every day since '98 and it's between this year '15 and '02 for me, just awful baseball teams.

We've got em right where we want em!

Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

It is what it is, though. Urias is going to be Brewer property for the next 5 years. We all better hope he improves.

Agreed. I don’t doubt they’d take a mulligan based on the early returns, but at this point they need to focus on developing the guys they received. Urias has enough talent as a starting point for hope, but whether or not he makes developmental leaps towards becoming an above average starting infielder will determine how it’s ultimately judged.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Brewers just want to get this over with so they can go home and not have to deal with the Rona BS and being away from their families. Expect a Braun announcement soon

Well, a leadoff hit is a good start!

Nothing is more important for the future of this club than where Christian Yelich goes from here. If this season turns out to be a sign of genuine decline rather than a total fluke, the contract that we signed him to will be an absolute catastrophe for this franchise.

Pay a guy 200 million dollars, I would hope he could maybe find it in himself to run hard to first in the 9th of an elimination game

His body language has completely sucked today.

He was an embarrassment all season

That really is the 200 million dollar question.

Yeah, we probably spend too much time complaining about bit pieces, but ultimately Christian Yelich is going to have a lot to do with how the offense functions going forward.

60 games where he was below average but not terrible. I am not concerned. Just an odd year.

Yes and No. Yes because you thought you had a stud to build around. No because no one contract should make you terrible if you draft and develop properly. Will it make things harder for sure but if you don't trade #1 picks for a bag of beans and draft Corey Ray's then you can still be good.
