Houser?

This could get ugly fast.

You are forgetting that "reliever Houser" was a stud. That may very well be his future role. Although right now it is looking like the 2021 Brewers are going to have a stacked pen, but perhaps little starting pitching depth behind Woody, Burnes and perhaps Peralta and Lindblom.

Just no on any thought of Woodruff batting.

I’m not defending Healy but it’s probably been over a year since Woody has taken any kind of batting practice.

I wanted Houser to get a chance to start this year, but I’ll admit he’s likely much better suited for the bullpen going forward unless he can develop another effective pitch to throw to left handed batters.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Nice of you to say. LE. I plan on calling out Attanasio for suddenly playing it on-the-cheap...Stearns for assembling this lousy collection of rummies..."young manager" Counsell for playing bums like Houser and Sogard so often...Yelich for abandoning/forgetting the plate approach that earned him that ridiculous contract...Haines for failing to come close to fixing our $215,000,000 investment...Houser for costing us so many games...Hader for being so damned predictable...Hiura for regressing...Narvaez for falling apart...and our training staff for so many injuries.
"So if this fruit's a Brewer's fan, his ass gotta be from Wisconsin...(or Chicago)."

Announcers already saying, "Dodgers will face the winner of Padres/Cardinals".

I guess they've seen the Brewers play this year.

Fire Haines Please! Taking Kershaw's meatball FBs and then getting schooled on the Breaking pitches. Great, Great, scouting report and strategy. Yeah Arcia was out on the 1st pitch but he put the ball in play and nearly to the warning track. Kershaw is just up there like this is so easy.

Kershaw is really good though, even if we had a top flight offense, I wouldn't expect more than a run or two off of him through 7.

You Don't fire Haines because of tonight......you fire Haines because of August and September.

Amazing, one of our hitters figured out that even if he hits a 600 foot homerun we'll still be down 3-1, so why not try to get on base?

Just a thought. Maybe they should have let Woody bat tonight instead of Healy. Woody has actually taken Kershaw deep before.

I’m sort of curious whether Woodruff has held a bat since Spring Training. I assume when the season went to the universal DH they just punted on the pitchers doing any sort of batting practice.

I’m guessing they completed scratched BP for pitchers. I figured what the heck, it’s not like it could get any worse. Second thought, yeah it could. He could pull a Jimmy Nelson.

David Freitas’ season debut in an elimination playoff game is very on brand with this year’s Brewers team.
