Coincidently (or not), Singleton's contract extension he signed with the Astros ended this year.

 

 

I couldn't believe it when the Astros gave him that deal, and now we have guys like Tatis and Wander Franco getting deals like they're getting, and it's NBD.

On the field, he's always K'd a ton.

And walked a ton. In his last two minor league seasons in 1,001 plate appearances he walked 190 times (to 256 K's).
