2021-04-04: Twins (Pineda) at Brewers (Houser) [Brewers lose, 8-2]

That was an impressively bad throw by Hiura because anything even in the general vicinity would've still been an out.

Do they only use the dead ball when the Brewers bat? Then again, when you strikeout all time time I guess it doesn't matter what ball they are using. My bad.

Not that Houser was awful today, but he has won a total of 3 out of 30 career starts. Amazing how inept the Brewers are anytime he starts.

Can we just, please, get a double bag in foul territory like they do in softball to help prevent these kinds of stupid injuries?

Going to get real interesting if Yelich does struggle this season. It will make you wonder if he really was cheating. So far, he does not look good.

I am not saying he looks good, but to me, the at bats look better than last year.

how so?

If I’m reading his Baseball Reference splits page correctly it appears the Brewers have scored 2 runs or less in 15 of his previous 29 starts.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

In what way? How much better can you look striking and and dribbling a ball 10 feet in front of the plate.

Not sure I can explain it. Last year he looked completely lost. Right now it looks like good swings at least. Just my unprofessional eye though.

I kind of explained it in response to another, but its just my unprofessional eye. So it may be way off.

The past month social media filled with complaints about lack of viewing options. We’re not even three games in and just saw two separate posts trying to figure out how to cancel their ATT TV, lol.

The hot take is they aren’t worth $80/month!

Even with the big opener from Shaw it’s looking like we still may have glaring holes at 1st and 3rd...

I wonder what Cardinal fans are thinking about their team right now? It’s game 3.

Nice job of Lindblom to get out of his own mess there. Let’s score some runs?!?

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Yelich did look a lot better on that strikeout than his other 5 this season.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
