Whew, I’ll take it. Great win in a game where it didn’t look overly probable when the night began.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

All I can say about this match up is, LOL.

We probably end up winning it too.

You nailed it. :)

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Huge to get the first game.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Nice to see a bit more MPH out of Lauer out there, that was unexpected. Hopefully he turns the corner and be a decent fill-in starter.

Chris Taylor is going annoyingly good this entire series isn’t he.

Over the years, I’ve thought of a lot of opposing players as “annoyingly good,” but I can’t imagine any Brewers players that would make an opposing fan think that about them.

I think Dodgers fans are probably thinking along those lines with Lauer right now (although that dates back to his Padres days).
