Penn St offense has a lot more deception to it.

Most high schools do.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Chryst needs to figure out how to properly gameplan on offense. You can't just run the same 3 plays over and over again and just change the direction you are running the ball.

You can't just keep on running one or two WR sets. This is just basic game plan 101 and he fails at it. The Badgers are going no where if he is going to be the head coach. Don't expect anything other than a 10-20 ranked team with him as the HC.

Just no offensive game plan other than run ball left run ball right run ball up the middle. That is 95% of Chryst's offensive game plan.

have to go for it
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

We should get our timeout back from this as well. Ridiculous how long it took to remember the flipping rules.

I do agree that the ejection part of this is crap. Maybe after a second one. But just give the penalty on the first.

they are giving our WRs a 15 yard cushion

something good has happened every time they put a guy in motion

I'm more annoyed at the announcers on that targeting call. I get you don't like the rule, I'm not a fan either. But there was a huge missed targeting call in the OSU game and it was a terrible job of being remotely objective about how bad the missed targeting was, and same thing here. Both were very clear calls and they made them sound like toss ups just because they don't like the rule.

Yeah, should be like the NBA - Targeting 1 is incidental, 5 or 10 yard penalty, no ejection. Targeting 2 is flagrant, 15-yards, ejection.

Chryst's goal line offense consists of run ball run ball run ball with no movement.

And as long as they don't fumble the handoff, it almost always works.
