Box: ACL Rangers 10, ACL Brewers 5

19-year-old Dominican rookie RHP Andy Garcia keeps getting starting opportunities, but it's been a struggle (WHIP 2.07).

RHP Lun Zhao is doing just fine in the baby steps that are making up his return to action, and after missing five weeks from mid-July to mid-August, LHP Pablo Garabitos is also throwing well in bitesize morsels.

This was the pro debut for Wisconsin native RHP Trevor Tietz, an undrafted signee after the 2021 draft, out of a Missouri community college.

2019 22nd round pick speedster OF Terence Doston has his first pro HR after 133 AB's (pulled a fly ball to RF).

Box: ACL Angels 22, ACL Brewers Blue 1

The Blue Crew committed more errors (five) than runs and hits combined (two hits).

Infielder Luis Silva surrendered five runs in his 2nd position-player-on-mound stint of the season, but that only softens the overall blow a bit.

In the middle of the madness, RHP Oscar Castaneda managed to toss three scoreless innings with no walks (two HBP's).

Early season statistical stud Jheremy Vargas (OPS now at .688) tripled.

Box: DSL Brewers #2 Squad 12, DSL Mariners 1

Just-turned-20-year-old Dominican RHP Domingo Mejia was fantastic over his six innings, continuing his strong campaign (1.03 WHIP).

Six different Cerveceros doubled, among the 18 team hits.

Check out the three 17-year-olds atop the order!

Venezuelan SS (is there any other kind?) Jadher Areinamo now boasts a .318/.417/.411 line in 107 AB's.

And how about bonus baby Jackson Chourio, now with five games at second base under his belt?

Box: DSL Brewers #1 Squad 7, DSL Phillies White 3

Just-turned 18-year-old Dominican switch-hitting infielder Arnys Rodriguez reached base all four trips.

17-year-old Venezuelan catcher (is there any other kind?) Jason Ollarve, LH bat, reached thrice.

Nice mound work by three hurlers who have had nice seasons.
