Conforto is basically their Yelich. Not a surprising result there. Nice job all the same, Box!

 

I was thinking Lindor is basically their Yelich. In very different terms.

Sometimes it happens that way. Burnes had a couple of those innings too.

True.....Mets have gotten away with quite a few center cut pitches as well.

No sense rooting for somebody to beat the Cardinals anymore. Finish this off on our terms on our field. Popping champagne after a loss tomorrow would just feel wrong.

Glad the Cardinals won today really. I get to witness history in person tomorrow.

Of course Shildt and company are such rotten turd burglars they'll probably lose on purpose tomorrow as quick as possible just to steal the Brewers thunder and make their win anti climatic.
