Yikes that was not an ideal at bat for Yelich.  I don't really know what to think about that.

I know what to think ... Yelli needs some pine time, or at least a move down to 8th or 9th in the batting order.

He's still hitting .300, but I am quite certain that is not gonna' hold long. ... hope I'm wrong!

I would feel a lot better if we were at least struggling against good teams but the scrubs are going to lose at least 90 and the Orioles probably over 100.

Its not like we really have any alternatives so we are stuck.

It doesn’t have to be a strict platoon, but if you’re going to rest the number one catcher every 3 or 4 days anyway, might as well target the games against lefties.

Why do you have to rest the number 1 catcher every 3 or 4 days?  Is this another one of those "today's players can't possibly play as often as players ten years ago because "reasons" thing?  Caratini got one PA against the lefty and the lefty crushing platoon lineup has scored zero runs in fourteen innings.

Catchers just don't start more than 120 games or so.

I’m a huge Ashby guy but the control issues are a concern.

Big upside if he learns to throw strikes more consistently.

How about some "It's so bad jokes?"

Brewers offense is so bad it makes Zimmerman and Bauman look like Koufax and Drysdale.

The offense is so bad that David Stearns is now recommending that Counsell use the pitchers instead of DH's and letting the pitchers pinch-hit far more!

Adding the DH is not a positive for the Brewers.
