Renfroe has always been a streaky guy, and I know he'll get hot. The extreme early returns are not encouraging, though.

He's pressing. That much is clear. Let's give him some time to settle in and see where the dust settles.

Yeah.  I'm sure he'll kill it from May thru August, then go missing for September and the playoffs like every Brewer hitter on this team.

Oh dear, you seem to be suffering from 'Bruised Brewer Syndrome'. I don't know if you would have made it through the 1990's my friend. Stay thirsty. Lotta season left.

Hiura should get no more than one month to show something before he goes back to AAA.

Same with Yelich.  (light blue font)

So many non competitive pitches when getting up 0-2 from the starters in the last 4 games.  This shortened spring training did not help.

Hasn't hurt the teams facing us so far.

This pitcher we are facing is unimpressive to say the least yet we haven't scored yet.

They are putting guys on, just need to drive them in. Still only going into the 4th inning. My advice, let the failures of last season go. This is a vastly different lineup with new hitting coaches. Give them some time.

How is this a vastly different lineup.

I wish there was a metric to measure least entertaining MLB team because my eye test tells me the Brewers are the run away leader.

If this is any indication of that, the games on our 10 pack last year were so dull that we seriously considered not renewing this year. I never would have thought I’d say that with a team that won the division.

A significant part of it is baseball in general the way it’s played these days with 3 true outcomes and 5 minute delays to decide  if a runner’s finger came off a base. But the Brewers don’t help with their uninspiring offense.

In the early 80’s there were years that I went to 30-40 games a year. Now that I’m retired and have the time to go whenever I want, 10 games is plenty. At least at home with the TV on you can do other things in the four plus hours it takes to attend a game and still follow it closely.

This game is a perfect example. It’s now going on 80 minutes after the first pitch and only 3 innings have been played and precious little action.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Nice work by Houser avoiding damage after giving up the leadoff double. We've got to get to this Orioles starter. He's not good.

You’re kidding right?   Renfroe, Cutch, Caratini, brouss at 3rd,Taylor starting(didn’t happen a ton last year) Hiura at 1st(didn’t happen a ton last year)

Your post makes no sense at all.  Why would it matter for other teams?  It clearly has had an impact on the Brewers pitchers it not having an impact on other means very little but then again your posts hardly ever make sense anyways.

It makes no sense that you think the shortened spring should have a bigger negative affect on the Brewers pitchers when it hasn't affected their two pitiful opponents at all.

Example #4,582 why the Baltimore Orioles are a terrible baseball team. That ball didn't even hit the glove.

Better than the Brewers so far, sadly!  ?
