Elite in 2021, however TBD in 2022.  One thing that frustrates me with some members on this site, is that many believe it is a given that the level players played last year is what they expect this year. We know this isn’t true when we look at players like Yelich, Cain and Travis Shaw recently. In fact in the cases of the aforementioned players, there can be a great variance from one season to the next. I don’t think it is realistic to expect the same or better seasons from Burnes, Williams, Adames and others. Although being optimistic is great, It isn’t a given that the Brewers will be a 90 win team in 2022.

Sure but can we expect guys that weren't so great to have good years? They don't always go from good to bad.

Of course nothing is guaranteed. But there are also people on this site that are saying the opposite as a matter of fact. We don’t know anything about the 2022 brewers right now, but last year does provide us a pretty good reason to take the optimistic side. So, let’s just let the season play out for a while before we arrive at any grand conclusions.

Sure! Good examples of that in 2021 were Burns, Adames and Urias. Comments about Devin Williams during this game were surprising, especially regarding relief pitchers as they usually have the greatest variance from year to year. To expect Williams and Cousins to have season like last year are probably unrealistic. Hopefully Gott, Gustavo, etc. will pick up the slack.

At this point their is No Way CC keeps him at his current spot in the line up as the 8th Inning guy.

He needs to go back to basics and pitch in low pressure situations
