The last two games we faced good pitching. Today there is no excuse to be struggling against this guy. Yelich just grounded out on a meatball down the middle.

He hit it 100 mph.

Meanwhile Henry hit one 50 mph for a single.

Tellez and Urias have hit one to the wall. Brosseau hooked one foul that he ripped.

We have been terrible all week against awful teams.

The Marlins are not an "awful" team. They have some of the best pitching in baseball.

regardless of what Woody's peripherals say, it's frustrating that it's not leading to results obviously.

I'm sure he'll turn it around still. if there's something mechanical, I trust the staff to figure it out.

I'm blacked out all the way up in Jax

You aren't missing much.  The Crew isn't playing well and all they want to talk about in the Marlin's 1997 WS win.

at least their decades-old nostalgia isn't celebrating a WS loss XD

I have said this a few times but I think this has to be the absolute worst umpire crew.  They are missing absolutely strikes that are in the zone by 1-2 inches consistently.

Earlier in the day, I was gonna pontificate about how the Brewers don't play enough "situational" baseball and rely too much on big hits.  But after back-to-back dingers, maybe I'll save that for later.   ?  ?

Marlin announcers aren't happy this crew either either.

Could say the same for the Marlins. Woody and Hernandez have almost the same ERA.

Woody is actually a good pitcher. Hernandez is not. Unless you think that 6 starts in 2022 negate three year's worth of being one of the best pitchers in baseball.

I don’t think Woody will shut anyone down.

I looked at some video from last year and this year and his arm path is slightly different. Looks shorter and lower with less depth before the delivery starts.

Your right, he’ll probably win the Cy Young award this year. After three years of one of the best he is due to win the award.

No. But I have a high degree of confidence that he'll return to being that guy.
