I thought Hiura was on last available option when sent to AAA 7/1. Had to be called back up to  MLB within 20 days to remain eligible MLB player. Was his stint on the taxi squad last week considered being back on the Brewer's MLB? Am I totally wrong?

I really, really wish someone would comment on this. I've at least partially brought the subject up in previous game's threads and never get an answer.

Options are good for the entire year.  If down for 20 days, Hiura will not be able to be optioned in future seasons. A player can be optioned five times in a season before he needs to be placed on waivers.

My understanding is that spending 20 days optioned uses the players option for that season. Hiura entered the season with one option remaining.

Believe the new rule starting this year is players were limited to being optioned five times per season.

If I’m reading his game log right, Keston has been optioned twice so far this year, a dozen days between May 5-18 and now thirteen days (if the ASB counts, less if it doesn’t) since July 10.
