Why Yelich is driving the ball into the ground

Why is Yelich driving the ball into the ground. Well, from the old coach, here's what I see. Since his knee injury he's got his hands closer in to his body and lower. He also doesn't have his head turned far enough toward the pitcher.  He misses alot of down and inside sliders as a result. When he goes into his swing his bat angle hits the ball hard, but drives it into the ground. Very few line drives. He needs to get his hands up and back away from his body more. His swing angle will then change and the result will be more line drives. He also needs to check his helmet and get one that allows him to turn his eyes more toward the pitcher like Ryan Braun did.  Yelich also needs to quit guessing so much at what's coming. He needs to see it, read it, and hit it.  Keston Huira has made like changes to his stance and swing. Yelich needs to do the same and quit being afraid to attack the ball. He still has that foul off his knee in his head.  Someone needs to explain to him that's a one and million chance of happening so let it go.

Because other than 2019 that's who he's always been?
