The Brewers next 18 games are against the Cubs (3), Pirates (3), Dbacks (4), Rockies (3), Giants (2), and Reds (3). If they’re going to make a run at either the division or the wild card, now would be a good time to win some baseball games.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

I’m looking at 12-6 as a minimum to show that the team can make a run at a playoff spot. That would involve winning all 4 of the 3 game series and 4 of the other 6.

Actually, 8-4 in the four 3 game series would be nothing special considering 3 of them are at home. At some point they have to sweep a series or two against these non contending teams. The Cardinals and Phillies have been doing that pretty regularly over the last few weeks. And counting on the Padres to keep losing is pretty dangerous.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I was thinking probably 13-5. Going to need to get red hot sooner than later.

Sadly, I dont think this team has the offensive firepower to get red hot.

My prediction is something around 9-9. Hope I'm wrong.

Bryce Harper is back for the Phillies and he delivered a 2 run single in his first AB as the Phils jump on the Pirates.

Turang homers again in AAA. That's an all-star player if his recent power uptick is for real. At the very least, it should be a ticket for a call-up, alongside Frelick. Jonathan Davis is such a waste of a roster spot.

Some absolutely horrendous missed strike calls here.

It's Bucknor....there will be plenty more.

Can't take advantage of the Cubs playing little League defense....

Perfect example of Brewers futility.

Cubs open the door with a bonehead play and the Brewers respond with 2 Ks.

The Taylor situation when you have four better options is maddening. I know we are just trying to get a bunch of bites at the apple but why do we have to eat the rotten piece in centerfield??

I sure wish Adames and Urias would follow Huiras lead and ditch the big leg lift.

You would think they would except what they see is the guy can't even get into the lineup and I play everyday.

Taylor has definitely been overexposed this year as a starting CF. Don’t see much reason why Ruiz isn’t already called up, given he’s currently on the 40-man roster. (Wouldn’t need an addition like Turang or Frelick, though I wouldn’t mind seeing them up in September.) Might as well see what he might be able to produce. Can still keep Taylor as the 5th outfielder.
