Well, Hoby gave up the Phillies clincher!

What a stinker!

Do you do this incessantly in real life, too? Or are we the only unlucky recipients?

I intend to be brutally honest. My daughters and I are leaning pretty heavily toward not renewing our seats. This was the second year in a row that the games we have attended have been brutally dull with just a couple of exceptions.

Good idea to not renew.  Thais way you aren't out much and can still get tickets next season if you want.

My favorite comment of the night from the broadcast crew was when they said that the DBacks bullpen has had problems, but they were pretty tough when the Brewers played them a couple of weeks ago.

What does that tell you?

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Time to complete the season package holder satisfaction survey I received today.

Thats where they ask how much you enjoy the ballpark food, in,park entertainment, etc. They’re hoping that a good overall ballpark experience will overcome a dull product on the field.

Get Bernie Brewer on the field ... need more organ play to get the fans clapping ... need to shoot t-shirts into the crowd between innings ... need dogs catching frisbees between innings ... need pretty cheerleaders on the dugouts ... need baseball bloopers on the scoreboard between pitches ... need cartwheeling ballboys at the start of each inning ... need Brent Suter to do some antics on the field for the 7th inning stretch ... need Bob Koslowski to sing God Bless America at the end of the games ... need to see some motorcycles race around the warning track before the game and National Anthem ... need to leave the roof open during games when it's only sprinking rain ... need to let the kids read the names of the Brewers batter every inning ... need BarrelMan on the field at all times in foul territory doing calisthenics and flexing!

Maybe we can get Paul Chryst and Craig Counsell fired in the same day. That would make me feel a little better about the future of both Badgers football and the Brewers.

Yeah. SOMEHOW pitchers save their best performances for us!

Are we really going to lose 4 of 5 to the Fish and Dbacks with our playoff lives hanging in the balance? Really?

Especially hilarious considering the argument a few weeks ago by that one guy that the problem wasn't that we sucked against bad teams relative to other playoff contenders when that clearly was a huge problem.

I regret to inform you that this is impossible.

Chryst is a very fine man; Counsell is a fine man ... let's just fine them for losses!  After all, they're the bosses!

When you have a roster full of guys who can't hit their way out a paper bag mediocre pitchers all look like Cy Young.

Don't cause a fuss.

But it's just us.

Excuse me while I step in front of a bus.

How come David Stearns is not in the TV booth tonight saluting the fans for supporting the team throughout their playoff run?

Because that apple isn't going to bite itself.

We want leaders and winners.  Chryst and CC are not even if they are fine men.

I’m contemplating the softball questions Craig will be asked after the game by the Milwaukee media.

No surprise here. The Brewer pitchers are 3rd or 4th worst in MLB at giving up HRs. The horribly slumping offense just continues to choke at every opportunity. The bright spot: they have a shot at the #1 draft pick (about half a percent chance).  Unless Stearns wants to see attendance further erode, some big changes have to be made.

For example, "How did Garrett Mitchell look in his big league uniform in the dugout tonight?"

Fine the fine men when things are not going fine ... that would eliminate some whine?

I'm looking forward to McCutchen getting starts the last two games of the year.

Him and anyone that will not be with the team next year should be DFAd tonight.
