Valentine has extensive ST experience, and has been the BPA on Kiper's board for a while now.

Interesting thing about Valentine is there is actual upside there with a decent sized athletic CB. Good 7th round flyer.

Nichols visited the Packers, so no surprise he's their annual 7th round RB guy.

Pretty sure the Packers had Lew Nichols III in for a recent visit.

Nichols is actually an interesting story as well- monster production in 2021 though at a smaller school, but led the FBS in rushing that year. Hamstring injury limited him in 2022, which may be why he's a 7th rounder instead of higher.

I was just thinking: much Like Wicks, absurdly productive in 2021. Coaching staff and personnel changes and injuries seem to have pushed their value.

I know there are a lot of varying opinions on Andre Carter II, but there was a point during the pre draft cycle he was discussed as a potential second rounder. That he went undrafted seems crazy.

It also helped that the 2021 Central Michigan team had two offensive tackles taken in the 2022 draft: Luke Goedeke (2nd Round) and Bernhard Raimann (3rd Round). They had a hard time replacing that talent on the offensive line on the 2022 squad, alongside Nichols' injury. But as a Central Michigan alum and a Packers fan, I'm very happy that Nichols wasn't completely overlooked in this year's draft.

Haven't really seen this mentioned, but apparently the Levis pick is pretty unpopular with Titans fans? Was just talking to my buddy about it who lives outside NSH. As Vols fans (and some as Vandy fans) they've seen him a lot. He's a rival, they think he stinks, he had an underwhelming 2022, he's obnoxiously cocky ... and now they have to root for him as the future of the franchise. My buddy went as far as saying he's not sure he can stand to follow the Titans if Levis is at QB. And he's not one to be dramatic. Makes me think he's not alone.

Man just a peeve after watching a lot of highlights for players picked. I would wish the highlights not include any tape footage involving bottom 50 rated teams in division 1.  Like oh look Alabama highlight of a int/pick six or sack vs. one of these teams.  Take B10 ranked teams and highlights with Rutgers involved. Only reason to show any tape vs a Rutgers is if they had a top 50 draft prospect that the player in the highlight beat 1v1.

 

Sorta like Van Ness destroying Skoronski.

Looks like Gute found a way bring in a veteran backup QB and draft a backup QB to pair with Love with the same player - the fact that Clifford is actually older than Love, who was drafted 4 years ago, is crazy.
